Cynthia, I do keep mine in airtight containers. This is the first time I've had a problem with Briskys. I cant keep it in the freezer because right now, there isnt any room left! We've got 6 people in our house. I keep it in my room and my room is always cool, cant say its always dark tho. Never kept in direct sunlight or anything like that.
