gliders are indeed alot of responsibility. I suggest you and your parents throughly research glider before even thinking about getting one. The require alot of attention and a well balanced diet. A healthy glider can live up to around 15 years...that's a long time for a ten year old to assume the responsibility..there are alot of things that lay ahead of you in life...are you sure that you will be able to properly care for a glider??? or will your parents be willing to unsure the proper care of the glider?? gliders are alot different from hamsters and you shouldn't just get one because you think they are cute!! And yes, they are expensive!!! Please have your parents sit down with you and talk about the responsiblities of having an exotic pet like a glider.
