I think he really loves you. Let me tell you I'd LOVe to have my gliders lick me. I remember the first two weeks nothing but biting! and i mean biting hard. I don't think it will harm him and if he seems to enjoy it, why not? My vet. said what would cause a glider to lick a lot is whenever you give it a lot of things off of your finger like applesauce and honey and yogurt. etc.
