: Im so shocked and sad. Brizzo was perfectly fine!
: She was moving around and playing and everything.
: At 3 o'clock 2 nights ago i heard her fall from her cage, not a jump but a fall and I look at the bottom of the cage and she looked drunk and her eyes were shut and her back legs were like ties together. She was hardly moving and I didnt know what to do at 3am and she was hardly breathing so
: I just held her and prayed she'd be okay and I felt so helpless, her mouth wouldnt open for any food or anything, although she had already eaten her supper, which was leadbeaters, canteloupe, peanuts, corn and apple and water. I kept praying for a miracle but 20 minutes later she was dead.
: What the heck happened??? I feel so bad because I couldnt help her when she was suffering. What did I do wrong?

I am SO sorry to hear of your sorrow. I too lost a little girl and have still not gotten over it. She was fine. and when I went in to say goodnight she was wet and curled up by herself. We rushed her to the ER vet and she died 1 hour later. I have blamed myself over and over. From what I hear these little kids dont give much warning when they are sick. I have since started observing behavior or changes in behavior and how much they drink and eat. If I notice a change I FREAK>> It's hard but please dont blame yourself. If you have another glider it will disturb him (her). I think if you give the other one alot of love and special attention it will help you and the one left.
God Bless
