With regard to the possibility of a new cage and a wodent wheel.... I am very pleased with the cage that I have, It came from Betsy's Custom Creations with a wodent wheel attached and ready for use. I have a pouch which attaches to the cage door this way I can peek in without disturbing my babies. As for adding a mate- My female and I had always had a great bond I was worried about adding another but am glad I did- she was thrilled to see another, but she is always ready to come to me as before. All the best to you in your decisions! : Hello. I have had a female glider for 2 years and I have a few questions. I have fed her leadbeaters for the last year, and she is very healthy. Is my recipie okay? It is: : 1 cup gerber baby cereal w/ bananas : 1 jar gerber chicken baby food : 1 jar gerber mixed fruit baby food : 1 jar gerber mixed fruit juice : 1 tablespoon wheat germ : 1 tablespoon honey : 1 tablespoon gliderade : I puree and freeze in icecube trays. Does anyone know of anything I should change/add to it? : I have her in a 24 x 24 x 36 cage which is made of galvanized wire. I was thinking about buying her a plastic/vynal coated cage but don't know where to buy one, does anyone have any ideas? : One last thing, I was thinking, maybe around Christmas, I would buy a male glider. Would she be able to have one litter or is she too old to have her 1st litter? She will be 2 in January. I was planning to have one litter, keep the babies (neuter them) and then neuter the dad. Do you think that she would get along with a glider after she has been soooo people oriented for so long? : Thank you so much. : JayBee : P.S. : I almost forgot, does anyone know where I can purchase a Wodent Wheel and a good nest box? Many thanks and god bless.
