: How long did it take your glider to bond to you? I have
: had mine for two months, and I don't know. He doesn't mind
: if I hold him, but he rarely will crawl onto me. Which
: is wierd, because he will glide to me from high places.
: I got him when he was eight months old from a previous
: owner. Could this be the problem, does he not trust me?
: What can I do to improve his trust?
: also-
: Is it bad to physically pick up your glider if he doesn't
: seem to mind? Sometimes I have to pick him up when I go
: to bed, which he doesn't like. Does this hurt the trust?
: Is there an easier way? I tried bribery, but he jumps off
: after he gets the treat.

: thanks
Bonding can take from a week to a year. If he is neutered
all the better.

Pick him up and carry him around with you a lot as the more
time spent with you the better because this is what makes
bonding. Pet him a lot and feed him treats like grape halves
from your hand so he learns to associate you with goodies Don't
make any fast movements that may startle him. It will take
time and patience but eventually he will come around.

Remember, every glider has a different personality and not
all gliders like cuddling and others love it while still
others...well it depends on their mood
