I hand feel my gliders the mealworms. However on occasion I have left then in a bowl in the cage overnight for them to munch on with no problems. Just make sure the bowl is slick sided...that way the can't crawl out. In small quanities I store mealworms in the refridge...
You can also freeze them and feed them to your gliders that way. Some gliders seem to prefer them moving though...
