: HOW do you feed your SGs with mealworms.
: Is it a must to present them one by one from your hands or can you just leave a few of them in a small bowl over the night. I´m afraid they might climb out of the cage and start a living in my room ---uääh
: (also, how to you store them -- in the frig?)

Storeage depends on the type of worm. Rainbow meal worms (giant suckers) don't get refridged, regular (small) meal worms do. You can switch to crickets and freeze them to kill them then use just what you need for each meal.

: I also feed the dry cat food (small amounts of it, though). Do they need mealworms in addition to that - I don´t want to overfeed calcium/protein

You need find something better than cat food to feed as a protien source. A fresh protien diet (hardboiled eggs w/shell, chicken, turkey, tofu, nuts(sparingly)) makes a better protien diet then cat food. If you want to feed a dry food try brisky's. If you use Brisky's you will still need to put fresh protien in the cage if you use fresh fruits and veggies. This is the only way to ensure a balanced diet.
