Your dad may be right. When gliders get unhappy, they may start behaving differently. Using her house as a toilet is a sign of a lonely, depressed glider. She needs to spend at least an hour a day with you and more time would be better for her. If you can't find the time to spend, you may want to see if your parents, brothers, sisters, etc. would be willing to take over your glider care.

Of course, using the house as a toilet may also be a sign of illness. She may just feel sick and not want to go out for the bathroom. If she is sick, you need to get her to a vet right away.
