Ive had my sugarglider for like a year in a half. shehas a little yellow house that she sleeps in. She loves to be out and I don't really have time to take her out alot. My dad says she's lonely but recently she has started using the bathroom in her house. she has never done this before. I always thought they were clean animals and wouldn't use the bathroom where they slept. Is anything wrong with her? Most of my gliders will do this, that is why I like the nestler from BPP. It has tiny holes in the bottom for waste to drop through, a flip open lid to make it easy to check on the babies and is dishwasher safe and comes with a lifetime guarantee. Since this is not normal behavior for your glider then I suggest you take her to a vet to be checked. I always suggest this to people if their glider shows any change in appetite, behavior, or activity level. The reason being that gliders can hide signs of illness so well until they are just too weak to hide it any longer and by then treatment is generally too late to be effective. Why take the risk? Take her to a vet to be checked just in case she is ill.
