I am sorry for your loss. It's too bad you had to find out about that in such a terrible way. Kitchens are generally not safe for gliders, it is best to avoid letting them in there at all. I have a list of ways to glider-proof your house on my website that should help anyone else from losing their glider. I feel so bad for you, I hate to think about how I would feel if I found one of my gliders dead. Sugar Gliders & Exotic Pets : If you have an electric stove, be aware that it may have : the 220V wiring exposed in the back with little or no : protection. Why am I telling you this? : Well, the other night I could not find one of my gliders. : After hours of searching, I happen to just check the back : of the stove with my flashlight and what I saw I'll never : forget! The glider was stuck dead to one of the electrical : cables. Check your stove and make sure you tape and cover : all exposed electrical connectors. This may also apply : to other appliances.
