Next I have a waterbed and my Baybe doesn't try to get in beside the mattress. You should be aware of where your baby is at every minute if possible, whatever you do DON'T leave your glider unattended, be aware of EVERYTHING the glider is doing and where it is going. There are so many things that could happen: trying to fly into a mirror, or out the closed window. claws can get hung up on the curtain or clothes, some glider love to chew electrical cords or stick their tongues in outlets. They could fly onto a hot light bulb, or get caught in the ceiling fan. remember the waterbeds have holes in the bottom on the corners..The best advice I can give you is BE AWARE of every move it makes and where it is making it. Good luck..
