I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I'm also disappointed to find out there aren't any glider knowledgeable vets in Richmond. I live in VA beach. I know it's a bit of a drive but there's a vet in Hampton, VA that can treat gliders, one in Va beach, and one in Springfield. The one in Hampton is called Todd's Lane Vet. Hospitial. The one in Va beach is Pet care vet. hospital. I'm not sure of the name of the one in Springfield but if you go to the isga homepage and do a vet search you will find it there. i know all these places are a bit of a drive for you....but hopefully this information will be helpful if you are ever in need of a glider knowledgeable vet again.
