What kind of wires? Like for a TV & stereo? We try to keep them tied up together and as close to the floor as possible as NORMAL gliders (excluding all the wierd floor gliders like my Fuzzy)will tend to stay Up. You might go to a store like office max and get a special cord cover that is meant to keep people from tripping on cords between cubicles.

Also YES if he finds the trundle bed comfortable he will crawl in there and make himself a Nest. My gliders love my pull out couch I just avoid sitting on it! So I sit on my chairs and they take over the couch. Don't ever chase it and try and make it come back out as you could squish him in the gears (whatever those things are called) mine come out eventually. You just have to be responsible and not let him roam if you need to be able to scoop him up to go somewhere. If it really worries you, take out the trundle, it may mess up the decor of your home but it will give you peace of mind. Ashjan.
