How long does it usually take gliders to mature? I have two gliders, one is about 2 1/2 yrs. old

and the other is about 1yr. My older one was mature by about 3 months-fully grown & developed.

My baby at one year though is not fully matured. Only about 2 months ago did she learn how to really run around,

and be aware that she could use her body-up until this point she was just a watcher, and her movements were

very labored and uncoordinated. She cannot glide at all, just drops and thuds on whatever is the worst landing place she

can find. Until about 2 months ago also she really didn't have flaps-she had no ruffly extra skin and what she had was

paper thin. She is a sweetheart, very friendly and now very curious.

Have other people had gliders this underdeveloped? Could it have anything to do with being the submissive

glider? My older glider seemed to have gotten bigger and stronger when I got the baby, and definately dominates,

but the two are good pals.

I know all gliders are different, but since my first one learned how to glide in the first week of having her, over a year for

the new one to learn seems a bit long to me.
