it's only the superworms that you would have to cut the heads off of...my gliders wouldn't touch them anyway because they are harder than the regular sized meal worms. You don't have to worry about the regular sized meal worms chewing. Wax worms are highter in fat content than mealworms...if you do decide to go with the wax worms use them as a treat not a staple in the gliders diet.

: The lady at Petco told me that you have to cut off the heads of mealworms before you feed them to any animal because they will eat thru the stomach lining of the animal. Is this true? Also, can gliders have wax worms instead of mealworms. The same lady told me that they are about the same but larger then mealworms.
