as long as you keep everything in balance mealworms (even more than 12 a night ) should be fine. Alot of foods we feed our gliders are high in phosphorus (or at least higher in phosphorus than calcuim)....I feed my gliders about 20 mealies a night and have never had any problems. I know one breeder that suggests feeling 1/8th of a cup of mealies a night...and she has also never had any problems.

: Sorry i'm not answering your question but i have another question i would like to add to your inquiry about mealworms. I started feeding my glider worms a week ago and i feed him only one or two a night because i read in a book that you should feed them no more than that because of a high phosphorus content (it mentioned nothing about the heads though). But i read a meal list from the ISGA that called for 12 mealworms??? How many mealworms is safe to feed ti your glider????
