we bought a huge galvanized cage form a local crafter and we coated ours with a product called dip-it. we tried the spray stuff and it wouldn't coat/stick very well. we ended up using the paint rollers you use on trim and base boards. depending on your reach and how the cage is configured, you may not be able to reach all areas of. also, watch the product. make sure it cures completely.check frequently for any signs of wear. especially before and after you clean it. if you are vigilant, you shouldn't have any problems.good luck! oh they also have a couple of different colors to choose from. i also put some plastic edging around all of the doors to protect them from sharp edges. glider love and kisses! : : : I was just wondering your opinions/experiences with coating : : galvanized cages. Has anyone heard of a thing called Plastidip? : : It's a rubber coating product that you can spray on. It's : : not supposed to chip or anything. Please let me know if you : : have some thoughts on this. Thanks.
