: The lady at Petco told me that you have to cut off the heads of mealworms before you feed them to any animal because they will eat thru the stomach lining of the animal. Is this true? Also, can gliders have wax worms instead of mealworms. The same lady told me that they are about the same but larger then mealworms.

The lady at Petco is an idiot. First off you DO NOT have to cut the heads off any bug you feed gliders. The gliders will eat the whole thing without any problems. I have been feeding my gldiers super woms for years now with no problems.

Yes you can feed meal worms, super worms, wax worms, crickets, and just about any bug on the planet. I used to have a spide problem then we got gliders. I have not seen a spider since.
