Although I'm a new owner, I've been doing a bunch of research.
Yesterday I gave Flip a small amount of mashed tofu mixed
with his natural fruit flavoured yogurt (just a smidge of it).
He ate the whole thing!! He also eats a tiny bit of high
quality cat food.
