: lucy doesn't always play in her hamster ball, she'll just sit there looking frozen and sometimes she's all over the house. when i get my guys out of their cage to take them to the glider proof room i put them in the hamster ball for transportation. I put them both in the same ball one day and went to t he kitchen to make coffee first and found out that if alex wants to go in his ball, lucy has no choice!!! it was almost like watching clothes in a dryer and she actually got in sync with alex and they were a team. it was funny and cute watching their little tails and feet and chests roll around.

I once put two males in two separate hamster balls. They were use to having their mates in the other hamster balls. When they rolled the hamster balls towards each other they found another male in the other hamster ball not their mates. Well they reved up those hamster balls and hit each other and went spinning off in opposite directions. Once the balls stopped spinning they headed for each other and wham off they went again. Bumper Cars for gliders.
