Hi I'm 12 years old and my class is doing a report on mealworms....I have some general questions about them if anyone knows.

1. What do they like to eat?
2. Do they actually shed their skin?
3. What is thier scientific name?
4. What is the process when they turn into beetles called?
5. What are the steps of this process?
6. Do they chance color when they shed?
