Subject: one demon, one angel
Posted by jt on July 17, 1998 at 13:55:07:
we did our research, and were able to purchase two wonderful young gliders. But, they came from different breeders to the same store. One male is an absolute angel and already tame. The second male seems a little older and is more than we expected. We can't even go near the cage without him going nuts and crabbing like crazy. He will even attack the side of the cage bainging his head and start racing around frantically. Worst of all, when he does this he attacks the smaller male and bites anything that moves near him. The wild one was born alone, the tame tame glider was raised with others.
It is extremely difficult to even get the gentle one out to sleep in my pocket. After reading all the archives until the wee hours last night. I still would love to know if anyone has some extra advice. Should they be in the same cage? will the wild one settle down? any advice would be helpful since we want to be good parents for a long term committment. worried that opposites dont attact. jt
