yes, they do.. the people that can get close to their gliders get the advantage of hearing some very sweet sounds.. the purring is so light, that others can't hear it. Almost like a baby kitten.. it is very slow and methodical..but very sweet..they also chatter, chirp, bark, as well as many other sounds that is hard to discribe.. but like us we have words like happy, estatic, content etc..
