: I was wondering if dish soap(Dawn, Ivory) are safe to use, the scented ones too, to wash the tray of the cage if it is rinsed well. Also has anyone used rabbit chow as litter for the pan in their cage. I use it for my ferrets and I tried it on the last pan change and the gliders haven't had any problems. Thanks!

Dish soap is fine. Rabbit food is not. If you are going to keep a dry food in the cage it needs to be designed for gliders. Visit the Brisky's homepage and order their smallest size to try. It is built from the gournd up for sugar gliders and takes their unique metabolism into account. Glider's digestive tracts are a lot different from a rabbits. Their diets are nothing alike.
