: what if it barks?

Cassie,

We really don't know what you are asking here? what if what barks? your glider or your puppy?

Okay If you learn to love every sound a glider makes you do nothing but, if possible watch it. I have 2 and my male seems to be the barker. We (a friend and I) Have come up with the theroy that the barking is like story telling. she has multiple gliders and when 1 is barking the others seem to sit and listen. Others say they do it to communicate with other gliders, and yet others say they are looking for attention. I personally go along with the story telling since Mine get LOTS of attention and there are already 2 of them in a cage. When a light is turned on in the other room it may distract them from what they had in mind enough to stop, mine however continue on even when the lights come on.. It is so cute to watch them bark..Nothing seems to be wrong when they do it and each person has to look at their own situation to see why they think their is..As you will learn about the hissing, as well as the barking. Good Luck..
