I bougt one of those colored bulbs from one of those stores that sell all kinds of stuff. In the states I think it Spencer Gifts(?). I got a purple one and I can see them and it's not to harsh of a white light. They seem to like it because when I turn on a regular light bulb(dim one) they hide. The bulb I have is either 25 or 40 watts(not sure). Hope this idea is helpful.
