: When i take me glider out in dim light to play so that i When I got my first glider, I was paranoid about exposing him to too much light. When I got my 2nd glider, I asked the breeder about it, because I was never able to find a good answer. The breeder said they can take most household light, just never direct sunlight. At the time, the breeder was sitting under a shady tree playing with a pair of babies. This breeder has beautiful, tame healthy gliders. So now, my first glider, after being in the dark mostly, he hates lit rooms. My 2nd glider has absolutely no problem with household lights. So, I think if you keep your glider in the dark, you will always have a problem.
