something I noticed when I first brought my gliders home and I wanted them to stay on me and not jump off is that if I kept walking then they wouldn't jump. So I walked, and walked, and walked. I walked circles around the coffee table, around the island in the kitchen and then started over again. I did this for a few minutes every day and eventually they didn't try to jump as much. I also put pieces of fleece that I'd worn in my clothes in the nest box. I tell everyone to do this...it works wonders.
