: I in no way ment what I said as an attack against you personally. I can tell that you truly love Flea and are willing to learn and do what it takes to keep him healthy & happy. I completely understand how confusing the diet issue can be. I've been there. I researched for 2 years before getting my first glider. I thought I had it all figured out only to learn that once I had him home most everything I thought I knew was wrong. I too had to start over as many others have had to do. And as you have seen...there is an abundance of sugar glider info on the web. Unfortunatly...it's not all correct. It might have been at one time but more is being learned every day. That's why Bourbon's page was created. Her page is a central place to find the most up to date researched info. It's the work of several different glider owner/breeders who. And when you find controversal info...those same owner/breeders are there on the message boards to answer your questions. If you see something that you think might be ok, but just aren't sure...just ask. Someone else might be wondering the very same thing. And someone is sure to have the answer...or at least a good idea at what the anser might be. We are all learning together.

Like Bourbon said...we do tend to get rather passionate when it comes to gliders and sometimes words get in the way of the meaning behind them. If we didn't care then we wouldn't bother.
