: As you all probably know by now, I have been working on the diet thing. Here is my question. When I first got Flea (the breeder was only feeding him baby food and grapes) and his poop was a light brown, kind of runny, yucky thing. Now that I have him on a diet that I think is good (day two of this new diet) his poop is dark brown, kind of hard and just rolls off my clothes rather than sticking to them. What color and consistancy should a healthy gliders poop be? Right now it is the color of dark chocolate. I was thinking that it was runny at first because of nerves but I thought that I should double check with the experts.
: Thank you

It should be a dark color and resemble that of a mouse or hamster excrement. Yes it should just roll off of you but it should not be too hard. If it is too hard or dry your glider could be slightly constipated and need a few raisins, grapes, or apple juice to relieve it. BTW I am not a glider expert, just someone with much hands on experience, who has done and continues to do much research on gliders.
