: I got lucy for alex after thanksgiving and he seemed to perk up for a while, now he's back to being reclusive. they are in same cage and they don't fight and they do sleep together but i don't see much other interaction. lucy is up a lot playing and alex gets up eats goes in wheel for a while and goes back to his nest. when i get them out to play lucy is all over the place exploring and gliding, alex however finds a towel with folds in it to hide and stay put, I'm forever shaking up his towel to get him to come out of hiding. He's over a year now and she is 6 months. he was on his own, literally, for 8 months before i got him and he's had a mate now for almost two months. is he just a quieter nature or still learning to trust?

thanks you two, i feel better now, I just love the little guys and worry. we are getting an add on built that i hope will be pretty glider safe but i'm not sure about unsupervised, that would keep "me" from sleeping at night!!!!! I don't really want to breed but know it will happen, I'm still searching for a reasonable neutering job, the best offer near me i got is 158. Ed mentioned some place near him that does it cheaper but i'm not a good driver and will wait till i get a vacation to go there,(during the day and pick him up easier)
