: : BTW on wednesday I finally get my new/first sugar gliders.

: Congradulations!
: Are you getting a pair? Same sex? Have you been visiting them prior to this?
: Best of luck!

They are a pair, and are unrelated. I've never met them before but I have my choice out of a bunch of them. I've handled and seen gliders on a few occasions prior to this, but have read every web page and book I could find, and I feel I'm ready to give them a try (in order to get them I sold my entire (small) collection of frogs to get them, and a cage with about 200 or so for emergency vet bills).

I also just thought of another bug that would be a perfect food, they are called Confused Flour Beetles, Trobilium confusium (sp). They are a little larger than the larger of the fruitflies and have larva that work for food for the frogs as well; the beetles should also work as a protein source.
As always if you need any of the bugs stop by (for first time readers) I live in Ephrata PA.
