I am assuming that you came to this web site to do a little research about gliders. That is the first step in owning one. I will start by saying that I have been a glider oener for only three weeks so I do not have all of the answers. I can tell you that my glider loves non-fat plain yogurt. He also likes babyfood peaches. I like to give him these treats because he will lick them off of my finger which is a good step in the bonding process. Many gliders like honey and kerns nector for a treat also. Of course these are just treats and should not be the main part of the diet. I would suggest that you go to Bourbons home page. It is a great place to start your glider research and get accurate/current glider info. If you are considering getting a glider it is important to know that many of the glider books that are in the pet store are out dated and have a lot of mis-information. I made the mistake of following a diet in a glider book that I later found out could cause damage/death to my glider. Gliders are a very high maintenance pet that require much time and possible money. With all of that said, if you still want a glider, I will also tell you that they are the greatest pets one can have! Please feel free to ask questions here because most people will really help you out and steer you in the right direction. Good luck.

: : Ok, What kinds of sweet things do your SG's like? What do they like overall the most? ANd, what does "NM" mean?

: If you do not know the basic diet of a sugar glider I will have to say that you arent ready for one yet and i suggest reading more about them. Their diet is a very important thing and many can die or become very sick without a proper diet! It takes a lot to owning a glider so I'm not saying dont get one, just read up and learn more for the best sake of your glider.. theses arent your average pet. Not like a hamster that u just buy and give food. and n/m means no message.
