I have never heard of anyone letting hteri gliders loose outside who ever saw them again. Gliders are NOT domesticated animals. They are a wild animal that likes people and will bond with them but if you turn on loose outside it will most likely take off for parts unknown.

Be smart. If you get a gldier make it an inside pet. YOu will be able to keep it longer.
