: when i get my sugar gliders is it a good idea to let them out in a big park to climb and glide (once i'm sure they'll come back) and when going about my room do they jump from thing to thing or mostly walk? : thanx : noah I do know of one man that takes his gliders outside to a pole for them to climb and glide back to him but one missed it's glide one day and landed in the yard near him, but a cat snatched it up and off it went. He searched and searched for it. A few days later while sleeping under a nearby tree, exhausted from looking for his glider, it landed on him from a glide. It was injured but responded well to treatment. Even under what you consider the safest of outdoor environments danger lurks. I would never take my gliders to a park and turn them loose. Even though bonded they are a wild animal and will take off for parts unknown.
