: I just wanted to let everyone know that I lost one of my babies tonight. It wasn't anyone's fault really. My husband brought out the dishes to be washed as usual(we keep them in our bedroom) and didn't put the lock on the cage door. Our 2 year old, who loves the gliders, opened the door and left it open(it was in the afternoon) and one of them got out tonight. Our cat got to her and she died in my arms. We're so upset. My husband is blaming himself and I am just in shock. Marcy will be missed greatly. Thankfully our daughters didn't see this happen because we were both such recks(still am). Well I don't mean to babble but I just needed to talk.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I have a poem that was sent to
me by a fellow glider friend that might be of some comfort for you, If you would like it e-mail me and I will send it to you.
