Subject: Bonding!?!?!?!!! HELP PLEASE

I am so upset right now! I thought things were going along great with Flea. He seemed to be responding to me a little by jumping and climbing on me in the bathroom and eating off of my finger while in his pouch. When he was in his pouch he would fuss at me but then stop when he realized that I had yummies on my finger...Yesterday things took a turn for the worse. I took his pouch out of his cage and put it around me neck and Flea started screaming (as he usually does) but this time he wouldn't stop. He was screaming for 10 minutes straight and kept biting my finger and would not eat from it. I took him out of his pouch and all seemed ok again. He was running around the bathroom like normal. This morning while I was gettinig ready for work the same thing was happening. He was screaming and would not stop. I tried talking softly to him and singing but the sound of my voice seemed to piss him off even more. At lunch...same problem!! After work I got him out and more of the same. If I sit real still (and type on the computer and not talk) then he is ok. If I move or speak he strts fussing again. What is the deal. Nothing happened that should make him hate me like this. I have not yelled at him or hurt him in any way (although I want to squeeze his little neck right now) hee hee. Has any one else had this problem. I am now getting to the point where I will be unable to take him out (to the store, work, dinner, movie or wherever I go) in fear that he will continue screaming (I mean LOUDLY). This will be bad because I know that I need/want to spend a lot of time with him but he is starting to make it impossible. What am I doing wrong?

He only has a pouch to nest in in his cage
I am feeding him a good diet (an he is eating well)
I talk softly to him and sing (my voice isn't THAT terrible!)
I let him play for at least two hours a night in a safe room
I carry him around with me for at least 3 hours a day (not including the 2 hours he is out)

Any suggestions would be helpful.

I know many of you may start in with saying that he needs a companion and I will answer that right now by saying that I may get him one in a while but I would like to try keeping him solo and forming a bond with him first. So if you have any other suggestions I would love it.
Thank you
Wendi
