I am looking for a sugar glider and i live in southern In I really want one but im scared that if i get one that it will die or run away from me. I think that they are great animals and believe that the are very intelligent. Im just unsure and learned that soon the law for selling them will change again and that if i didnt get one now i would not be able to get one afterwards these that i know of are sold. I have also learned that if the owner cant spend at least 4 hours a day witht them they die. So i thought i would get two of them at the same time that way they are together and not lonely and can mate. Im just unsure what to do because of this new law. Can anyone help me?
