You might try acting hurt when he does that, such as saying "ouch!", and sound really hurt. Doesn't have to be loud, just communicate to the glider that it hurts! I tried just taking it thinking he thought my hand smelled like food or somthing but like I said he dosn't let go. So my question is,...do they go through teething times? Gliders do have a natural need to chew, to keep their teeth and gums healthy. Put a fresh fruit tree branch in his cage, such as apple or pecan for the glider to chew and climb on. Be sure the tree wasn't chemically treated, and remember some fruit tree branches are poisonous, like cherry and apricot. Replace it when it dries out, and the glider loses interest in it.
