: I encountered a question here that I thought I would put a new post about. I have had a glider for about 2 months now (you can see his page below on my site). I got him just after he was weened. Now the same breeder's female glider has had another litter of joey's. I told her I would like to get another boy if she had one because I do not want baby gliders myself. SHe said she does have one just OOP and that it will be a while before they are weened.
: Now for the question. I have had a few posts here saying that I should NOT get another boy because of dominance reasons, etc. Does everyone agree? Disagree? SHould I see about getting a girl instead and just getting my male fixed? Please tell me what you all think would be best so I can ask my breeder about it.

: Thanks!

I know of one family that had two males that did fight to establish dominancy. They had one of the males neutered and then they were able to get along because the one male was then submissive. Since you may have to get one of the males neutered anyway, why not go with a neutered male/female pair.
