That glider is still there and has been in that ten gallon tank for about 7 months or so. I don't know if the store is licensed but I know this has to be some kind of mistreatment. If anyone knows someone I can contact to report this, let me know. By the way I am located in New York.

Have you tried contacting the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals for your area? Sadly, probably nothing will be done. Many stores in my area sell these animals to irresponsible and unprepared owners without giving any information. I have seen gliders put in 1"x1" cages with no toys and only vitamin supplements to eat, seen staff pick them up by thier tails, and even throw the gliders at a person who moved their arm away while the glider was in mid air so that it fell on the floor. I vote with my money: I will not buy supplies or toys from any place that mistreats animals. Hope everyone will do the same!
