: : Well I want one and I want to know how much they are and if they are mean.

:
: mean? not on your life. gliders are either your friend for life, or just another pet. moody? yes, bite? yes (but usually momentarily). a glider needs to smell and feel unthreatened with you. bourbon has some good bonding points, click on the links and go there. gliders can draw blood, or just nip as a warning, my best advice is take the bite! if you jerk your hand, then it will have the edge on you. go slow and put yogurt on your finger for her to taste and she will be learning your scent at the same time. they are very precious and tender hearted, they are not for impatient owners, they are for someone wanting to add a new member to the family.

don't know your age, but they are not for young people who don't have patience to play with them at night or early morning cos theyare night animals. you'll need support of parents cos of "some" noice and smell. they need lots of stuff that gets expensive when you add it up, food (needs to be cut and fixed fresh everynight on clean dishes), toys(wodent wheels, hamster balls, tree limbs ect) and cages and sleeping arangements.(pouches, boxes ect.) you have to provide good care for them on vacations, vet bills can be high (if you can find a vet) and theeir illnesses are food related, you have to know about calcium and phosphorous ratios, and protien. they can be mean and disappointing at first if you expect instant love cos you have to build trust and a relationship and you shouldn't get one only if you can't spend much time, (how would you like to be the only species of your kind locked in a cage all night with no one to play with?) I love my two to death but i had a male first and he got lonely so i got him a mate and she is sweet and he warms up to me but he still bites me when i go to get him out of cage. once he's out he's fine but it "hurts" my feelings when he bites me, not to mention drawing blood. they are loving and fun to watch play but i get up at 3:30 every morning to play with them.
good luck, not trying to scare you, just inform you :)
