did u ever hold a hamster in the morning??like when u wake up?? it licks your eye lashes.
its harmless your glider likes the salt that accumalates on ur eye lashes just like hamsters. when u sleep your eyes water kind of so a little bit of salt can get on the lashes and thats what he is licking off. i see no harm in it so don't worry about it. he will get over it just like babies get over sucking there thumbs.
