: I give my gliders a waxworm once in awhile as a treat, but not as a regular source of protien, like mealworms & silkworms. I've been told (don't know the %'s etc) that waxworms are too high in fat and phosphorous, so aren't good for gliders on a regular basis. They are little fat butterballs, so its like candy to gliders. Unfortunately, we all know how much candy we should eat. Fly larvae is very good for gliders, but I haven't had the urge to try it yet ;)
