Actually, when I blow on him, he jumps back, then comes over and licks again, not biting as hard. It is beginning to work some. He doesn't seem to like yogart, honey, or any liquid thing with a substance, that's why I use glideraid. I wouldn't use hot peppers on my fingers, and I would NEVER EVER EVER hit my BABY!!! Hiting my weedeil would be be like the hand of god coming out of the sky to knock me in the head for cusing!!! Who would DO such a thing to such a tiny adorable creature??? I'm about to be a mother, and I don't even really beleive in spanking a child. I would never hit an animal unless I was in MORTAL DANGER. I don't know who would ever suggest that, but I would never do it. As for his temperment, it's still the same, but he's getting a little better. I have learned an essencial thing. My weedeil is a GROUCHY sleeper. No doubts about that. He wakes up in a horrible mood (god forbid I WAKE him up!!), and gradually gets in a better mood. If I look in his pouch when he's trying to go to sleep or wake him up when he's sleeping, I'm in for a major crabbing fest. After he's been up for about an hour, he's in a much better mood, and I can pet him. Thank you for all of your advice.
