When I got my female glider (younger than my male), my male glider was so overjoyed, he scared the daylights out of the new female and she kept running away. What I did was put the female in a smaller cage, and put that cage into the male's big cage. By morning, they were getting along and I could put them together in the big cage. So maybe that same process will help yours?
