: my two year old male glider rarely drinks water. i have a small bowl of water on the side of his cage and a water bottle. he does drink from his glideraide bowl, but not much. do gliders not need much water daily???

my glider drinks from a bowl within her cage. i have only seen her drink a few times, but unless you sit and watch them every minute within a 24 hour period, you really don't know how much they are consuming. i really can't tell that little-bit has drank any but i have seen her therefore i know she does. the fruit contains water content, so how much they consume is greatly determined by content. be sure to clean and place fresh water daily.
