That is his scent gland, it is fine, all male gliders have it, when you wrote on the first post you said on his tummy, now you say on his chest.. on his chest it is the scent gland , it should be anywhere from an inch to 2 inches long, and very prominant, If it were lower it would look like a pouch LOL.. It is fine perfectly normal, he probably has been rubbing it alot lately huh?, but it is okay, .. good luck with the neutering..
