: o.k. first all, make sure it has been washed. i placed mine in the ball while she was sleepy. she sat there for a few minutes and every time she moves so does the ball. after about doing this for two days, then when she was up and had played for awhile, i offer the ball at her door and she climbs in, she loves to ram the walls and down the hallway to stare at my finches. yummmm
